The night kicked off with 90’s juggling from DJ Boogie and Phil Dawg, who both delighted the crowd, as they took over the dance floor in style, while patrons anticipated the arrival of Magnum’s first King and Queen of dancehall for 2008, Singer Jah and Baby Tash.
The MC of the night was none other than the energetic and humorous Pretty Boy Floyd, who for the most part had the audience in frenzy with his antics.
The Axe crew was in the house, where the ladies raised more than eyebrows and so did the Magnum Divas, who all shared the stage with the host during the night. Stone Love was on hand and took over the musical selection for the rest of the show.
The "Onelove" Team caught up with Singer Jah and Baby Tash before their performance, to get their response for being Magnum’s first King and Queen of dancehall.
“It means a lot to me. I am now being viewed as a role model and I have to set an example for those who look up to me,” - Singer Jah
Baby Tash said, “I feel truly blessed and very appreciative of this opportunity given to me. I must be thankful for those I have around me especially good friends and fans that love my music”.
Magnum Queen Baby Tash took the stage with high energy and brought the house down with her dynamic performance. Though brief, the patrons were not satisfied and requested for more. She fulfilled their request with intensity for the second time.
With his cool demeanour, Singer Jah promised to deliver a great performance and was true to his word. The ladies were thrilled just to see him on stage, singing as they were blown away by his charisma.
The island summer tour continues but both artistes will be performing at the Manchester Fiesta, on Saturday July 26, 2008.
